Loy’s 2008 Christmas Wishlist
Christmas is in the air! Can you actually hear the Yuletide songs? Can you actually see the Christmas trees and lanterns all over the place? Can you actually read those annoying text messages on your cellphone asking for Christmas gifts? If you haven’t, then you must be the newest version of the Grinch.
As much as I like to receive than to give, I’m coming up with my 2008 Christmas Wishlist in the hopes that some kind soul, or Santa Claus, whichever comes first, will grant my wishes. I am keeping my fingers crossed that my idols Bill Gates and Warren Buffett will also contribute to my noble cause, and that is to be a billionaire like them.
Actually, I haven’t thought about creating a Christmas Wishlist, knowing that wishes rarely come true. But Manila Freelancer promised to give away one (1) SUPER TALENT 200X 4GB USB Flash Drive, one (1) Ridata 1 GB USB Flash Drive, one (1) Memorex 1 GB USB Flash Drive, one (1) PQI 1GB USB Flash Drive and two (2) 2009 Starbucks Planners to six (6) lucky winners, so I decided to join in on the fun.
Without much further ado, here’s my 2008 Christmas Wishlist:
- A Nokia N97 phone!
- A MacBook Air (world’s thinnest notebook)!
- PlayStation 3!
- If it’s not too much to ask, a new house and lot for the family!
- LASIK surgery!
- A European tour (France, Germany, England, Spain and Greece)!
- Home Internet access for free (and for life)!
- A million dollars in the bank to jumpstart my pursuit of fame and fortune!
- Of course, good health to let me enjoy my riches!
- Winning this contest!
I have many more wishes but I think the top 10 will suffice. Did I mention world peace? Well, that’s the world’s most elusive wish that has been around for thousands of years, with no hope of coming true whatsoever. So I’ll just leave it out for the meantime and I hope that lasting peace does come to the Middle East and other troubled regions in the world.
Wish me luck on the contest and I hope all my wishes come true!

Nice list! I had a wishlist on my blog before but after a while I decided to take it down coz it seems like my list wasn’t changing. I mean, I wasn’t getting the items on my list. After I took the list down, I was able to get some of the items.

I realize that I’m way too late to comment on this post. But I am curious to hear how did it go for you. Awesome list, nevertheless
